Improper Kick-Out Flashing Caused Hidden Water Damages
This repair was the result of a faulty roofing kick-out flashing installation, which allowed water to run behind the siding instead of being properly diverted into the gutter system. Over time, that water intrusion led to rot, mold growth, and structural damage concealed behind the exterior walls.
Mitigation done right
This project showcases our full-service mitigation and restoration process from start to finish. After water intrusion impacted the room, our team began by removing all saturated carpet and padding to expose the subfloor and prevent moisture from spreading.
Siding and rot repair
For this project, we were brought in to solve ongoing water intrusion and structural concerns along the garage wall. After opening the wall, we discovered that the original structure had no sheathing at all, leaving the framing exposed to moisture and movement over time.
Decking replacement
This project features a full cedar deck replacement designed to maximize outdoor living space while standing up to Northwest weather. We rebuilt the entire deck system using high-quality cedar boards, upgraded framing, and secure metal railings for long-term durability and safety.
